• Completion of the office building is planned for the end of 2020
Berlin, 19 March 2020
Already at completion by the end of the year, Consus Real Estate AG (“Consus”) has been able to rent around 1,700 sqm in the Franklinhaus office building to a software developer and IT service for software solutions for a term of ten years. “As already announced at the beginning of the year, we have concluded the first major rental agreement. We are currently negotiating with further tenants for the property”, says Jörg Kesting, Managing Director of Consus Development GmbH & Co KG. The future office building in a central location in Berlin-Charlottenburg at Franklinstraße 26a, has six floors and one staggered floor with a total rental area of approximately 11,500 sqm. The site covers approximately 3,600 sqm and is located near the Technical University of Berlin. The Franklinhaus development was already sold to BNP Paribas in February 2019. The office building was designed by the well-known architects’ office «Nöfer Architekten» and will conform to the latest technical standards and high sustainability criteria after its completion. A certification of the building with “LEED Gold” is aimed. The variable room partitioning enables innovative room concepts, economical and flexible office uses such as open-space, individual and group offices as well as combined and open-plan offices.
